Year 2023

We proudly present our first foal crop 2023, which is still quite manageable!
We were presented with two strong and healthy colts who are developing very promisingly and
and are giving us a lot of pleasure.

Don Friduren

03.05.2023
Foal inspection: 7,5/7,5/7,5/7,5/7,5/7,5/7,5

Our very first home-bred foal – he is and will always be something very special! Fridulin goes on the charm offensive and ends up getting everyone to cuddle and stroke him. He is very docile, curious and trusting in a pleasant way, but not pushy. A versatile horse is growing up here. Canter is his method of choice and the little one really makes meters. His father Kros  von Ajbek has a string of successes to his name. From “Trakehner cross-country horse champion 2019” with an ideal score of 10.0 to qualification for the World Championships for young eventing horses and victories in CCI3*-S competitions.

Dam Donau Fee reliably passes on perfect, head-clear characters and brings a lot of drive and movement herself. In 2023, one of her foals was the winner in the category “Best 4-year-old and older mares” in Westerstede at Brune Stud. Backed by the stallions Krokant x Lauries Crusador x Caprimond x Sokrates, our Donau Fee goes back via Donauliebe vom Klosterhof x E.St. Donauwoge vom Klosterhof to Donaufürstin (A3A3).

In our opinion, Don Friduren will be a reliable partner in sport or leisure time, just like his siblings – uncomplicated to ride, easy to handle, trustworthy and a lot of fun to work with.

Ostertanz

21.05.2023
Foal inspection: 8,5/8,0/7,5/8,0/8,0/8,0/8,0

Successes:

  • Reserve winner of the colts at the Tarmstedt Foal Championships
  • Highest rated foal of the inspection trip of the breeding district Lower Saxony North-West / Bremen
  • Championship foal

The little “Tänzchen” knows how to attract attention. This foal is characterized by an excellent, relaxed stride that flows through the body, an active hind leg and a good foundation. His fine, dry head literally writes Trakehner on his forehead and he definitely doesn’t have to hide his origins.

Sire and stallion Gaspard by His Moment x E.H. Imperio impresses with his impulsion, freedom of shoulder and great mechanics in movement as well as attributes such as rideability, light-footedness and charm, which he clearly passes on to his offspring.

His large-framed dam Only You is fully in the Trakehner type and originates from the line of O69A Oka – zu Dohna-Schlobitten.

Ostertanz is currently being bred as a stallion prospect by the Langels family in Schäplitz.
