Our broodmares

At this point we would like to introduce you to the heart of our breeding program – our mares. As diverse as they are in their type, pedigree and appearance, they have one thing unmistakably in common: they are Trakehner! The incomparable typey expression, with a harmonious appearance, with lively, expansive, elastic movements, paired with rideability and a versatile disposition for riding and sport horses, offers a partner with a good character, balanced temperament, high intelligence, willingness to perform, endurance and hardiness, who will go through fire for his human being at any time and without hesitation.

The Trakehner horse is something unique and very special. It is considered graceful and elegant, but also sensitive, spirited and extremely strong-willed. Above all, however, it is known for its extremely friendly nature and affectionate nature. It establishes an intimate connection with its people, wants to act at eye level and has a great desire to please and be loved.

The Trakehner horse is not only the oldest riding horse breed in Germany, but also the first horse breed and the first German intangible cultural heritage with a hippological background.
